UVM's nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and approved by the Vermont State Board of Nursing. The faculty of the Department of Nursing believe that nursing is a science and an art. Professional Nursing is a holistic and humanistic discipline that draws its knowledge, theory, and research base from behavioral, natural, and nursing sciences.

Prospective Nursing Transfer Student Information Sessions

Due to the volume of inquiries, we are not able to schedule individual appointments. Prospective transfer students interested in the Undergraduate Nursing major are invited to attend an information session that will answer questions about the program and the transfer process.

Undergraduate Transfer Information Sessions are held in Rowell, room 104, on the following dates:

  • January 25, 2010 - 3-4:00 pm
  • February 24, 2010 - 2-3:00 pm
  • March 24, 2010 - 12:30-1:30 pm
  • April 21, 2010 - 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Graduate Program Information Sessions are held from 4-5:30 pm, in Rowell, room 201B, on the following dates:

  • January 26, 2010
  • March 2, 2010
  • April 6, 2010
  • May 11, 2010
  • June 11, 2010
